The Yellow Door on Spencer is Yellow Door Albany’s self-contained Albany WA short-stay holiday accommodation: a renovated 1930s cottage with heritage character, harbour views across the neighbourhood, a sheltered front alfresco and private fenced backyard.
Two bedrooms, well considered.
Wake up to morning light through heritage windows, polished jarrah underfoot and the quiet of a residential street. The cottage sleeps up to four guests across two comfortable bedrooms: one king, plus two long singles that can form a second king on request.

King-size bed. Jarrah floorboards, heritage cornices and natural light. Linen and towels provided — nothing to pack.

Two long single beds, or a king when requested before arrival.

The lounge is the heart of the cottage — high ceilings, warm lighting and original exposed brickwork that gives the space real character. Settle in with a book, put something on the Smart TV, or simply do nothing for a while.
Netflix and Stan are included. A dedicated workspace provides a quiet corner for work, reading or a slow morning with coffee — with 400 Mbps NBN Wi-Fi when you need to connect.
Reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning in the living room keeps the cottage comfortable year-round. Each bedroom has a radiant-convection heater, with ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms for warmer nights.
A kitchen worth using.
The full kitchen and Nespresso coffee machine make mornings and meals at home easy. Fridge, oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher and the essentials are ready for self-catering, with dishwasher tablets provided.
The dining area seats four comfortably and connects naturally to the kitchen and lounge — a good space for a relaxed dinner in after a day exploring.
The private laundry includes a washing machine and dryer, so you can pack lighter for a longer stay. The bathroom features a rain shower, with a separate powder room containing the toilet, basin and mirror. There is one shower and one toilet in total.

The heritage yellow front door is unmistakable — you’ll know you’ve arrived. Two designated off-street driveway parking spaces are provided, and entry is straightforward via an electronic keypad.
Guests have exclusive use of the entire cottage, sheltered front alfresco and large fenced backyard. There are no shared guest areas. Enjoy coffee at the sunroom’s timber window bar or an evening on the alfresco beneath its overhead radiant heater.
Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. Exact check-in instructions and access details are provided after booking confirmation.
